Kingsbridge is living up to our promise of ‘So many choices, So much to do!’

April 27, 2020

We aren’t letting ourselves get bored with the ‘stay at home’ COVID precautions.  We are offering a host of things to keep ourselves busy and engaged.

Our teammate Karina has a wild imagination and we are having fun living out her ideas.

Our #safehands video had 1200 views on its debut day.  Residents and staff had a blast filming this. Please share this out to your social media and all your family and friends!  Our video can be found on our Kingsbridge webpage.

Here’s some the things that we have been doing:

  • Courtyard ComboFit – We were on the local news!  See our Fitness Videos Here:

  • Courtyard Concerts – We had a baby grand in our garden this past weekend; a piper from the Kingston Police Pipe Band; a violin player and we have more musicians coming to perform in upcoming days for outdoor concerts.
  • Giant Snakes and Ladders Game – our dining room has been converted to a bigger than life size game board.  What?  Can this be true…. oh yes it is!
  • Easter Bunny Visit – a community good Samaritan appeared at Easter to dance in our courtyard – Premier Ford said he was an essential service, so it’s legit.
  • Suite mystery visits – Snacks, books, puzzles, wine and roller skating clowns with cookies… you never know what cheerfulness will be delivered.
  • Floral arranging to scatter cheerful fresh flowers throughout Kingsbridge.  Flowers were generously donated by Loblaws.
  • Calming Moments – a mindfulness practice with zero gravity recliners to calm and relax our residents and staff.
  • Messages out to the world – We have created window images to send good vibes and love out to the world of Kingston passersby.  We have also invited our residents to create message boards to their family and friends.  Please see our Facebook posts.
  • Greetings from Afar Car Parade – we had a great event, stuffed with many heartfelt greetings.  Did you miss it?  We will do it again.  Check out our Facebook page to see the parade in action.
  • New FACEBOOK page – We are pumped about introducing our incredible Facebook profile.  We will fill it with newsworthy updates, shareable fun stuff and inspirational stories. Check us out:  CLICK HERE
